{"id":36563,"date":"2017-01-25T16:28:26","date_gmt":"2017-01-25T08:28:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ssbg.com.cn\/?p=36563"},"modified":"2021-04-08T13:30:37","modified_gmt":"2021-04-08T05:30:37","slug":"vpn-crackdown-clarification","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ssbg.com.cn\/cn\/vpn-crackdown-clarification\/","title":{"rendered":"VPN crackdown clarification"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">Regarding recent news of a 14 month long VPN crackdown campaign in China, SSBG would like to clarify the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: blue;\">This crackdown is targeting 3rd party VPN <\/span><\/strong><em><b><u><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: blue;\">Proxy Tools<\/span><\/u><\/b><\/em><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: blue;\"> (Astril \/ ExpressVPN \/ SwitchVPN \/ etc) used by locals to get around the Great Firewall filtering of Youtube \/ Facebook \/ Google \/ etc. As long as your VPN connection is applied only for the provisioning of internal Corp Network assets and resources, then you are not going to be in conflict.
